Year 1 had a fantastic time today on our trip to Milestones Museum where we stepped back in time to discover what toys and games were like in the past. The children took part in a variety of activities including sorting toys, creating a toy timeline, building challenges and even exploring a teddy museum. We played games such as tiddlywinks, hopscotch and voice games that children would have played in Victorian times. We also has the chance to explore the museum – there was so much to see! The children really enjoyed learning through hands on experience and a great day was had by all.
