Year 4 had an extraordinary day at Rushall Farm. It was an amazing opportunity for them to apply their Geography and Science learning! They studied rivers, wildlife and habitats, learnt about bees and completed the bee dance, as well as spending time sweep netting in the sunshine.
As the sun was shining, we took the opportunity to get out onto the school field to begin to hone our compass skills. We were learning to orientate ourselves using a compass.
Year 2 enhanced their classroom learning by taking part in African Workshops this week. The children thoroughly enjoyed making beads, printing, playing drums and dancing.
This week, Year 4 enjoyed having a visit from Berkshire Reptile Encounters. All of them bravely held or stroked a variety of creatures and asked brilliant geographical and scientific questions.
