Caterpillars have arrived in Reception! Each child chose their own caterpillar and gave it a name. Over the coming weeks, we will watch as our caterpillars grow, change and eventually form chrysalises – before emerging as beautiful butterflies. Our Reception class puppet, Buttons, has been sending postcards from all around the world. On Tuesday, he visited London, so we ‘travelled’ on a big red bus to discover some famous London sights. Our Reception class have enjoyed some festive treats this week. The children made figgy pudding and each made a magical wish whilst stirring. There was a cozy campfire with hot chocolate and lastly they made gingerbread biscuits to take home.
