The school development plan is a document used by the senior leadership team to plan the development of the school over a set number of years. The one page overview outlines the key targets for the current year. These targets have been informed by school performance, observations, monitoring , the context of the school and needs of the children. Some of the targets are whole trust targets, which we collaborate on with the Trust central team. Although a plan will have larger, long-term goals, it can also effectively impose short, impactful deadlines to track progress and ensure consistent work towards the larger goals across the academic year.
