Year 6 completed their Artists Study by creating a piece of art inspired by Frank Bowling, Paula Rego, David Hockney or Lubaina Himid. We were creating pieces that had a message or story behind them.

Science week fun
Despite being at Ufton Court, Year 4 have investigated sundials and particle size. They created paper sundials inside and used torches to understand how the shadows are created to tell the time. Tyre Garden
Adding to our courtyard garden, Eco-committee and Year 6 have started putting together a tyre garden on the field to enjoy in the summer term.

Making our own timer
Year 6 explored making a ten second timer as part of science week. Could we create a water timer or marble run that timed ten seconds? Some of us were more accurate with others; the nearest timer was 10.21 seconds!
