Some of our Year 1 and Year 2 children visited South Lake Primary School to take part in a Wokingham School Games Multi Skills Festival. The girls’ football team played their Wokingham Shield semi-final match against Beechwood Primary School this week and although the outcome was not what they wanted, they played brilliantly together and have made amazing progress as a team this season! We are so proud of all the girls! ⚽
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children recently visited Waingels College to take part in a Wokingham School Games badminton event. They enjoyed participating in team games and had the opportunity to practise and develop their racket skills 🏸
The girls’ football team played Finchampstead in Round 2 of the Wokingham Shield and WON! They played brilliantly throughout the match, with the score at 1–1 for most of the game and extra time. They won on penalties again! Well done, girls – onto the semi-finals next ⚽
We took a group to a New Age Kurling competition run by Wokingham School Games earlier this week. Our team learnt new skills and got some high scores – well done!
