Drama Workshops

As part of our World Book Day activities all the children took in drama workshops run by West End in Schools. The children were asked to re-enact the story of Hansel and Gretel – can you tell what they’re portraying in the photos below? Some characters but also some objects!

Romans for the day!

Yesterday Year 3 had an excellent day today at Ufton Court, immersing themselves in life as Romans! Maths Fun

Year 1 have been having lots of fun in Maths, finding and making number bonds to 20. The children enjoyed spotting patterns and making connections with their existing knowledge. It’s great to see their confidence with number facts growing.

Mosque Trip

Year 2 went on a trip to Shah Jahan Mosque in Woking. It is the oldest mosque in the UK having been built in 1889. The children enjoyed learning about the Muslim faith and the mosque, providing great foundations for our learning about Islam next half term.
