Year 6 have been enjoying Bikeability this week with Avanti staff. Now it is the turn of the second half of the class to hone their skills on the playground before heading out onto the road.
As part of our climate and environment education, Year 1 have adopted an evergreen tree. We have named it ‘Mrs Green’.
The frogspawn we have been monitoring in class have been very successful in becoming tadpoles and already have the bumps on the back of their bodies that will form into legs. We have really enjoyed watching them develop. Mrs Joyce Read more
Eco-committee making a start on clearing some of the beds and planting some seeds for next year. Our potatoes are chitting across different classrooms in the school.
Last week, Year 6 took their learning into the outdoor classroom to explore knots and knot tying. Some with more success than others! 🙂
