Year 1 carried out an experiment to see if jelly sets slower or faster when it has fruit with it. We had 2 pots of jelly, one with fruit and one plain. We looked at our jelly pots each hour and after 4 hours it had eventually set. We concluded that it made no difference if there was fruit in or not. We are enjoying science week so far.
This week Year 4 have investigated the digestive process by experimenting with breaking down bread. Although this experiment was messy, the children learnt lots of key terminology.
