Bushcraft at Wellington College
Flames, teamwork, and plenty of determination! Year 6 had a brilliant bushcraft session learning how to safely build and light their own fires at Wellington College!
Ufton Court Residential Trip
Year 4 attended a 2 night residential trip to Ufton Court and learnt all about Tudor life. They played games, tried archery and explored the manor house. They even took part in a court case, a raid and a special Tudor banquet with traditional dancing.
Wokingham School Games Racket Pack Competition
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children recently visited Waingels College to take part in a Wokingham School Games badminton event. They enjoyed participating in team games and had the opportunity to practise and develop their racket skills 🏸
Science Week
Last week the children celebrated science and completed experiments each to day. These included observing the effects of milk, food colouring and washing up liquid, investigating how oobleck (cornflour and water) is like a liquid and / or solid. Testing which material makes the best handkerchief and the best boat. Read more
Wokingham Shield Girls Football Round 2
The girls’ football team played Finchampstead in Round 2 of the Wokingham Shield and WON! They played brilliantly throughout the match, with the score at 1–1 for most of the game and extra time. They won on penalties again! Well done, girls – onto the semi-finals next ⚽
Wokingham School Games New Age Kurling
We took a group to a New Age Kurling competition run by Wokingham School Games earlier this week. Our team learnt new skills and got some high scores – well done!
Library Visit
As part of World Book Day celebrations Reception class children had a lovely time visiting the Crowthorne Library. They learnt how to use the library and listened to stories. The librarian commented on their impeccable behaviour and we were very proud of them indeed.
