Our Reception class puppet, Buttons, has been sending postcards from all around the world. On Tuesday, he visited London, so we ‘travelled’ on a big red bus to discover some famous London sights. On Wednesday, Buttons jetted off to Italy, and we followed close behind, travelling on our own plane and using our passports. We met Mr Filippi, who came to tell us all about Italy and answer our questions. He even taught us how to twirl spaghetti on a fork! We also became chefs for the day and made our own playdough pizzas. On Thursday, we found ourselves in India, where we enjoyed lively Bhangra dancing and learned about Indian culture. On Friday, we ended our journey in Australia, discovering all sorts of strange and wonderful Australian creatures and making tasty fairy bread. What an amazing adventure around the world we had — all without leaving the classroom!
