Starting 1st of December, Reception class began their annual Advent activity calendar. Each day, they choose a number that reveals a fun, Christmassy activity. On Monday 1st, they decorated the classroom and created an Elf Workshop in the role-play area. Since then they have completed lots of Christmas crafts as part of the Advent activities, making decorations, snowflakes and other festive creations for everyone to enjoy. On Friday, the Advent treat was a Christmas treasure hunt in the woods, organized by a little elf named Mattie! Reception have also enjoyed a Christmas story each day, opening a new story from our Countdown-to-Christmas Book Advent Calendar.
