Following on from our Harvest celebrations and our work on The Little Red Hen, Reception decided it was time to become bakers and make our very own bread rolls shaped like Hedgehogs! The children had lots of fun rolling the dough into balls, pinching the dough to make little hedgehog noses and carefully snipping the dough to create their spiky prickles.
Reception class had another fantastic week of learning, singing, creating and problem-solving! They all gave a great performance at our school Harvest Festival.
Our Reception children have been paired up with a Year 6 buddy to help them choose library books to take home and enjoy together with their families.
We are so proud of our new Reception class, they have settled in well and become part of the Hatch Ride family!
