We have started another year of sport at Hatch Ride by hosting a Wokingham School Games KS1 Multiskills event. We welcomed six local schools to Hatch Ride for a fantastic mini sports day. Our new Year 5 Sports Leaders, alongside other Year 5 volunteers, planned and led the activities. For many of our Year 5s, this was their first experience of organising and leading an event like this and they were brilliant! They were complimented on their excellent manners, clear explanations and enthusiasm and they represented Hatch Ride excellently. We were also delighted to have a KS1 team take part in the event, giving our own pupils the opportunity to enjoy the activities alongside children from other local schools. A huge well done to all of our Year 5 Sports Leaders and volunteers for their hard work and commitment. Here’s to more sport and exciting opportunities in 2026 and 2027! 🏅
