This year, a group of Year 3 and Year 4 children were invited to the Berkshire School Games to represent Wokingham at a tennis festival. The children were coached by sports leaders from secondary schools across Berkshire where they took part in a variety of fun tennis activities and had the opportunity to develop and practise their skills. Afterwards, they enjoyed exploring the ’60 Minute Active Zones’, trying activities such as speed stacking, football keepy-uppies, fencing and circus skills before finishing the day with a picnic lunch. It was a fantastic day and a wonderful way to celebrate another GOLDEN year of sport at Hatch Ride!
