Today we had some very exciting visitors at school – the firefighters came to see us! They told us all about their incredibly important job of putting out fires, rescuing people (and even animals!), helping in emergencies and keeping us all safe. We got to try on some of their special uniforms – the helmets were very heavy! Then came the best part… we explored the fire engine, saw all the amazing equipment they use and even got to squirt the hose ourselves! We had so much fun splashing in the water – there was lots of laughter, soggy socks and the biggest smiles you’ve ever seen! A big THANK YOU to our local heroes for a truly memorable visit! It was also the perfect way to celebrate Healthy Minds Week – having fun, laughing together, and learning new things is a big part of keeping our minds happy and healthy!
