Over the last few weeks, Year 4 have been exploring different types of poetry. They have been developing their understanding of performing poetry and have been putting actions into their reading of them. They particularly enjoyed ‘The Slithermonchowchuck’.
This morning, we held our whole school moment of Remembrance in the playground with all our children respectfully observing the 2 minute silence. Each class made a wreath of poppies to display. Thank you to the British Transport Police for visiting us today to talk about the dangers of the railway. The children were engaged and asked some interesting questions.
Year 1 visited Milestones Museum to learn about toys and games in the past. The children had a wonderful day exploring the museum and got to play with many older toys.
