Year 2 enhanced their classroom learning by taking part in African Workshops this week. The children thoroughly enjoyed making beads, printing, playing drums and dancing.

We had a lovely sunny day exploring Odds Farm. Everyone enjoyed meeting the animals, going on a tractor ride and playing together.
A huge thank you to year 2 for arranging a garden sale of books, plants, cakes, sweets and more. They raised a magnificent £300 for school!! Well done and a huge thank you to everyone involved.
Year 2 had a great time on our class trip to Ufton Court. We went pond dipping and examined our findings, completed a tricky team building challenge and hunted for signs of different tree species in the woodland. The frogspawn we have been monitoring in class have been very successful in becoming tadpoles and already have the bumps on the back of their bodies that will form into legs. We have really enjoyed watching them develop. Mrs Joyce and Mr Jones will be returning the majority to the Read more…
In Year 2, we have finished our unit on shape by making patterns. Can you name any of the shapes? Can you spot how many shapes have been used before the pattern repeats?
