This week, Year 4 have been practicing using tints and shades to create a 3D pot. Their pots had to start in the shape of a number and then develop into their chosen shapes. Many of the children used the artist Magdalene Odundo for inspiration.

We have been learning how to roll paper to make a sculpture. Today we created this ‘Tree of Life’. We all made a piece of bark for the tree trunk or branches then added leaves and many creatures that might live in it. We had lots of fun!
Eco-committee working hard watering, weeding and planting in our courtyard garden. We are hoping for a bumper batch of strawberries this year!

We took a small group to a tennis festival at Berkshire Country Sports Club, the children tried hard and had fun improving their skills

Year 6 have been looking at Relationships this term and building a web showing how we are all linked together.
