Year 6 have been exploring light in their Science lessons this half term. We have taken part in a range of experiments exploring: shadows; reflection and refraction.
Y1 – Y4 all enjoyed a fun taster session of our new Acrobatics Club that is starting in January, run by Empower Movement.

Our naughty school elf is back and creating mischief! He first appeared last Monday on Ms Sparrowhawk’s back in assembly and every day since he has been spotted playing tricks.
This week, Year 6 have started to revisit measures and converting between measures in Maths. We combined our maths and science learning to try and use accurate measuring to create a colour spectrum.
Year 6 managed to beat the elements and enjoy a campfire with smores this week!
Last Tuesday we had an exciting morning when we were visited by a group of Crowthorne Firefighters. The children were great listeners and asked some interesting questions. We were able to look round the fire engine and were even able to shoot the hose, which created some beautiful rainbows!

We took a group of Year 5 & 6 pupils to a Boccia Festival. They were all very enthusiastic to try a new sport and had lots of fun. They were all very proud of their medals!
